IRAN RESISTANCE HOLDS MEMORIAL OUTSIDE BATACLAN FOR VICTIMS OF PARIS ATTACKS



Officials and supporters of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) held a memorial on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 in front of the Bataclan concert hall in Paris to remember the 129 people who were killed in the terrorist attacks by Islamic fundamentalists in the French capital on Friday, November 13. Prominent French singer and writer Sapho joined the supporters of the NCRI by giving a live performance at the memorial.
 Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of NCRI, issued on November 13 condemning Paris massacre, was read out at the ceremony.While expressing her condolences to the President, Government and People of France, Mrs. Rajavi reiterated that fundamentalism in the name of Islam - whether under the banner of Shia and velayat-e faqih or under the banner of Sunni and Daesh (ISIS) – and their inhuman crimes have nothing to do with Islam and this evil phenomenon, wherever it may be, is the enemy of peace and humanity.
Renowned Iranian musician Hamidreza Taherzadeh, a member of the NCRI, performed a violin solo in memory of the victims of the tragedy.
